How did you get into the industry?<\/strong><\/h2>\n

I started my career in a graduate program at EY Belfast and initially worked in Internal Audit. One day, they sent out an email requesting volunteers to undertake a secondment to their Software Asset Management (SAM) team, and I\u2019ve been working in SAM ever since.<\/p>\n

What appealed to you about the industry?<\/strong><\/h2>\n

If I\u2019m completely honest, when I first started working in the industry it was to try something new and gain the opportunity to travel on the job. I didn\u2019t know much about software licencing, but I quickly found my feet and still enjoy the problem solving and complex scenarios that we\u2019re presented with. Of course, since the Covid pandemic the amount of travelling has reduced but now I can still enjoy some trips to lovely York.<\/p>\n

Tell us about your career history and what led you to License Dashboard <\/strong><\/h2>\n

As I\u2019ve said above, I started my career in a graduate program in EY before some time in KPMG London and then the opportunity to join License Dashboard came across my desk and I haven\u2019t looked back! In previous roles I conducted audits on behalf of software vendors, as well as providing SAM services to managed service clients. Microsoft SPLA is my specialism.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

What\u2019s your experience of working at License Dashboard so far?<\/strong><\/h2>\n

I joined the team within the last 6 months so it’s still early days, but so far I\u2019ve really enjoyed working at License Dashboard. It\u2019s great to be part of a team with strong technical ability and knowledge that also has the great people and laughs to go along with it!<\/p>\n

Tell us a little bit about your role<\/strong><\/h2>\n

As a Senior ITAM Consultant in the team I work across a variety of projects and customers, and with a number of different members of the License Dashboard team too. Normal days include ELPs, true-up discussions and keeping up to date with any changes to licence rules.<\/p>\n

How would you describe the culture at License Dashboard?<\/strong><\/h2>\n
