License Dashboard has today announced the return of former director and product creator Sean Robinson as Sales Director.<\/p>\n

Robinson, who will return to the company in March, is the original creator of License Dashboard\u2019s License Manager<\/a> product, which has developed over 15 years into an industry-leading software asset and licence management tool, continuing to deliver SAM services to some of the largest companies in the world.<\/p>\n

License Dashboard Managing Director Sam Mudd said, \u201cWe are delighted to be welcoming Sean back to License Dashboard. Those who have worked with Sean will know he is tirelessly passionate about the product and the services he has created for our company, and for clients in the past.<\/p>\n

\u201cBased on an increasing maturity and acceptance in the market that Software Asset Management is required, he will head up our efforts to grow our technology and service sales across the world.\u201d<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

Robinson is a pioneer of Software Asset Management with over 20 years\u2019 experience of helping organisations with software licensing compliance. He has been involved in more than 1,000 Software Asset Management projects throughout the world, for organisations of all sizes and across all sectors.<\/p>\n

Robinson has been a Director at Investors in Software and Federation Against Software Theft (FAST), the world\u2019s first organisation to promote the legal use of software and defend the intellectual property rights of software publishers as well as being instrumental in developing and specifying the internationally established ISO 19770-1 Software Asset Management standard. More recently Robinson co-founded the independent software asset management consultancy, LMO Consulting, where he led the licensing optimisation team. This gave him the opportunity to experience life on the other side of the fence, where he helped SAM managers to evaluate and choose the most appropriate SAM tools and services for their needs.<\/p>\n
