License Dashboard, provider of Software Asset Management (SAM) technology and services and Nexthink, provider of the leading Digital Employee Experience platform, have today announced a Technology Alliance Partnership.
The partnership will help large and fast-growing organizations better manage their software environments, reducing their IT spend across their cloud, virtual and desktop network whilst improving employee experience by tackling IT issues and vulnerabilities before they arise.
Integration between License Dashboard’s SAM application, License Manager, and the Nexthink platform will allow users of both products to automatically transfer the vast data discovered and reported on by Nexthink into License Manager to utilize as a part of an organization’s SAM processes.
Commenting on the partnership, License Dashboard Director Sean Robinson said,
“This new partnership brings fantastic possibilities to both License Dashboard and Nexthink customers. Combining these two powerful platforms will allow Service Managers to easily manage their IT estate, reducing spend on software and protect themselves against any license compliance or usage issues. The insights, intelligence and alerts provided by Nexthink enable business owners to ensure their employees have the best possible digital experience in the workplace. This will be hugely beneficial to our customers.
“License Manager is designed to connect to any platform that an organization is using to provide IT inventory data. Nexthink is an ideal solution to generate the kind of rich software deployment and usage data that a company needs to begin making real, positive change to their environment. This is the value of the partnership and we look forward to working closely together for the benefit of our mutual customers.”
“The SAM space is a perfect fit out for the unprecedented detail and accuracy offered by Nexthink’s end-user visibility,” says Hans Harbo, Nexthink Channel Director, Northern Europe. “In License Dashboard we’re delighted to have a partner with deep sector expertise: it’s exciting to see what this integration of Digital Employee Experience management and leading SAM technology can offer organisations crying out for a true, real-time picture of their software estates, entitlements, and usage.”
